as sleazy as it is....craigslist.com . there are whole sections for people looking to find a third person. just go to the casual encounters section. I don't think its any different than meeting someone in a bar....at least you get to choose them before you are drunk. (and you can ask to see papers showing they are disease free if you want).
I know some people who have had some luck with it. You will get your fair share of messages from creepy men, but if you make a good post on there you should also get a few good responses. I think that posting a picture (of some kind...you don't have to show your face) is pretty important to get people to look at them and take it seriously. You can also look on there for people who have already posted and are looking for a couple.
chat rooms i think are better than craigslist or gumtree. you have to invest a bit of time talking first, but i met quite a f ew women from lycos.co.uk. who were looking for fun casual sex. never organised a 3 some but the possibilities were there. good luck
