Anyone ever heard of the mayan factor?

    i recently came cross this band on last fm and none of my friends have heard of them. i have a strange compulsion to listen to them pretty much all the time but i still haven't quite figured out what makes them so appealing (they sound a bit like a perfect circle meets alice in chains in a mayan themed bar). Anyone here heard of them? If so what's your opinion of them?
