Is your favorite music in the key of 'R'?
Do you often fall down while dancing to wierd time signatures?
Does your favorite band list "birds" as one of their instruments?
Does your 256MB mp3 player only hold 2 of your songs?
    Do you wear a cape?
If so, pleased to meet ya. ;)

Man you must be incredible. And nuts. You have to be a little wacky to even attempt the Sound Chaser solo. I love listening to that sort of stuff, but then I get all bummed out because that stuff doesn't exist anymore. A few new bands have tried, but they didn't quite get it. IMO.

yea, its pretty hard, just need lots of distortion, and plus i know every note on the album like its a second language. im trying to get a band like them going, but so far no one can play theyre stuff, so im just on accoustic right now.

    I love prog rock!!!
I'm into Yes, Quatermass, king crimson, camel, dream theatre, and other groups i'm sure no-one has ever heard of.
though it's been a while since i got one of my prog cds out for a good afternoon session...
    still, prog rock rules!

I'm pretty new to the Prog. rock scene, I only listen to the "giants" of the genre really. I got a 17 track Hawkwind CD for £3 the other day which is a bargain, there are several amazing songs on there. Does anyone know of some obscure Prog Rock bands (preferebly Space Rock?) Not so obscure their music is impossible to download, but still....obscure-ish.

I'm not sure what "Space Rock" is, but if it's what it sounds like, you might want to check out Billy Thorpe - Children of the Sun. It's one of the classics. Aside from that, I'm like you - only familiar with the giants. RELAYER is currently educating me :)
