Anyone listen to Japanese music? :D

I listen to Miyavi and Dir en Grey mostly.
Sometimes Bucktick, Alice Nine, The Gazette, or Clearveil....
But am i the only one? hahaha
if you don't i seriously reccomend Miyavi. Especially these two songs.

I dunno about Japanese, but I definitely like Traditional Chinese music. Like the guqin (instrument) is really cool, and zithers.

theres one artist in particular who I think is really good with a zither, another cool instrument.

Wei Shan Liu (or Weishan Liu I think)...shes a badass

I like a bit everything so yes...I like some new stuff and also some of the traditional ones

Yeah a lot of people get their japanese music from Anime they like.... i used to be obsessed with Anime but i stopped caring about it. I don't get my music from Anime.
Yeah i love Korean pop too XD

 

I've never liked Anime much myself. The ones I do are great, but I think in general they are very monotonous and bland.
I actually feel the same way about JPop and KPop..

I took a class in college about world music, and we had a whole unit on gamelan music... i never really liked it, it all sounded so similar to me. I like instruments like that though, where you can just beat on a percussion style instrument : )

Yuor right with those asians and their video game music! Mega Man ftw... oh my god, epic, epic video game music. me and my friend had a long standing joke how we were going to start up a band that only played mega man tunes... wiley's castle.... LOL
