We are thinking about moving there, and I'm trying to find out how bad the grass allergies are around there. We used to live in Eugene and grass allergies were soooooo bad! I'm thinking they are better in Portland due to location?? Please help if you have any idea. Chives
lol...I suffer all the time here, sneezing, snotty nose, the whole 9 yards...well, not all the time, but a fair ammount of the time. But it's a good city...just take your meds and you'll be OK, lol.
No, he was asking what the problems were with alergines (did I spell that right?) in Portland; I only know someone that lives in Newport, so I can't really give him any advice...
Well, it was always my understanding that the wind often blew the grass pollen from all those fields right into Eugene, and then it became trapped between the mountains for long spells. I thought maybe Portland got more northern winds and would have less of a problem with the pollen being trapped between the mountains. Does that make sense? Chives
