If so, do they do random drug tests? I figured they only would if they had probable cause, but I don't want to lose my sweet new summer job! Thanks in advance!

I went to a Target when I was with my parents when we went to New York. It's like the exact same thing as Zellers here lol. Same colours and clothes and layout. The name was the only thing different really lol.
I work at a shopping center at night and talk to the target employees that gather up the carts. Yes, they do an initial drug test, AND random testing, although rare. The guy i talk to told me he hasn't had one since the initial, BUT they were told they do reserve the right to administer them. If you're just doing it for a summer job, the only one I'd worry about is the initial. Peace
Target isn't owned by the french, lol Target came from the Twin Cities, just like Best Buy did. And both of their HQ are within the same little area. And yes they drug test, most big companies like that will.
I know they do intial tests, but I'm wondering if it is common for them to do random. I've worked for a number of corporations that do drug screening once you are hired and they reserve the right to do random, but that's written in the law. So i'm just curious if they really care and try to take action on drug users... So, thanks starscream, you're the only one to be helpful.
