Application To an open wound?

A friend of mine is very curious, extremely curious. He's got a skin flap from a nasty fall that has sorta re-attached. Basically he can peel it open, it bleeds awhile, then it stops, but if he puts it back it reattaches. He wants to know if the come up would be any quicker if he applied it in that fashion.

swallow the hit, give your body the respect it needs to keep you alive by letting it filter what you're putting inside you through some rudimentary filters against pathogens.

seriously, if its a big enough skin flap that you can access the actual FLESH (not skin, but FLESH), then you need a bandaid, and/or stiches before you go tripping

also i would think that it might burn. since im pretty sure i've read that putting lsd directly in your eye is very painful, I can't imagine that an open wound wouldnt burn as well...I agree that you should respect your body, and perhaps you won't be bothered by your wound, but dude cover it up and dont fuck with it if you decide to trip soon.

 

people usually use sterilised needles to put things directly into their bloodstream.

But they are not completely necessary.

I just dont think it would absorb that fast... just because there is blood coming out of the wound does not mean that the blood supply is close to the wound. If you put a tab in there, you would have to wait until it was saturated with liquid before the lsd started coming out of the tab, and since the liquid is blood.. it is more likely that the tab will get clogged with platelets and drying blood

I don't know whether to believe him or not, but I know someone who definitely mainlined opiates who says he mainlined liquid acid more than once and it came on almost immediately.

I've seen someone trying to get LSD off a blotter into his eye by putting it under his eye lid...while I was tripping. Talk about freaky. I think he may have been really drunk, which is so hard to understand when you are seriously tripping.

one of the only recorded cases of an LSD fatality was from a man who injected it thinking it was speed.

and now that i think of it, im not sure if that even actually killed him or if he was just hospitalized in an extremely unpleasant state. Just think of how much acid that must have been, if he thought it was speed!

 

Well a thumbprint is several sheets worth of LSD, and people have dosed far higher than that and been alright.
In order for someone to inject a lethal amount they'd have to have a serious hookup. I mean it's not easy to obtain that much LSD in liquid form without knowing what you're doing. So I fail to see how someone with that kind of knowledge could possibly mix up LSD and speed.
I'm not saying you're lying, because I have read this story before.
I just find it hard to believe.
