I love your work! Just wonderful.......
I would be very interested in learning the how-to's of all of it, but unfortunatley for me I cant afford any of the materials right now. Have you been doing this a long time?

I have been sewing regularly for a short period of time...but i have been interested it my whole life...my mother sews ... when i was younger i used to mess around w/ the machine and usually ended up messing things up...it's sad that she never taught me..or hell even made me do it...

so yes..the last few years i've been really into jewlery making, sewing, and other arts and crafts...

u do not need alot of money to do these things..all the clothes on my gallery cost me around 20 bucks to make all of them...it's something like 3 apron tops and three skirts....i always shop off the clearance tables!
    Also , i like to 'reconstruct' things...and that's cheap...

are u proficent w/ a sewing machine???? that is a must...or it will be very hard to sew..:) let me know..i want to share my made up patterns w/ the hip world!

    keep it surreal...

all i did was undo the seam on the cords....then i measured how big around i wanted the bottom of my pants to be...then i sewed my patches togher according to the biggest measurment i decided ... then i angled them from the top to the bottom...and just sewed it in! and added a hem around the bottom...it is so easy..took a little over an hour to do it all....plz try it..u can get funky w/ the patchwork too..or even personalize it w / appliques..:)

i'd love to learn to make those, especially the apron tops, but i suck completely when it comes to sewing machines... how hard would they be to do by hand?

sewing machines are alot easier to use than u think..u just need to take the time to sit down and really learn...by hand it would be way way too much..

i tried a sewing machine before and they are hard for me to handle. i prefer doing it all by hand. i know its time consuming and requires patience, but its easier for me personally.

me too :) i borrowed my gf's sewing machine and despite many lessons i kept jamming it. i finally gave up and sewed the purse by hand and despite a tilt on the flap it turned out ok.
