Well me my self , I don't mind them at all it's just whatever they want. But are people still opposing this gay rights or what not. Are they still being mocked for who they truly are? Just curious on oppinons.
Yes. Gay rights are still being opposed. Gay people are being mocked and far worse for who they truly are. It's better in some places than others. Progress has been made, but there is still room for lots, lots more.
oh yes I understand. Some people should just understand that people are people and it doesn't matter what they like or are. It's really just the person they are inside. You know? Like I said earlier I have some gay friends and their very nice and have a great personallity.
I dont let the ignorance of others bother me. I could care less what some stranger thinks about me, and what straight people think is best for me. I'am who I'am and if they dont like it, they can kiss my ass and go write a story about it.
Ignorance in this world is what I hate the worst!! Being a gay 38yr.old female is the life for me , because I was born into it... Not something I chose!!. But u know I dont tell people how to live their life or what to do in their bedroom ...Thats their buisness!!! So I wish the narrow minded would stop telling me about what to do in my in my life !!!
In this state, you can legaly be fired from your job, be denied housing, be denied credit or loans, have your children removed from you, and loose the estate your partner willed to you, all for being gay. What "gay rights"?
I know, it's terrible that in some places people can be denied basic rights to housing, jobs, and child custordy all because of thier sexuality! As far as taunting and teasing, in my area it's not so bad. People still use the phrases "Thats so gay!" and "You're such a fag!" all the time, yet most people don't seem to realize that it's derigotorty language. I have told my friends how I really don't like having to hear those phrases all the time, so at least my friends don't say them anymore(around me, at least). Of course there are a few homophobes here, but you'll get those wherever you go. But in my school you're far more likely to be shunned by your peers for being a homophobe than a homosexual. I really am grateful to live where I do, it's a pretty liberal area.
i'm guilty for saying "that's gay", It just is said so often that i kind of picked it up. It doesn't really bother me though.
I am not aware of any jurisdiction that has made sexual orientation discrimination ilegal. I think this is pretty much the case everywhere, in this country.
Im just wonder why the distrust in gay......if it were 2 women, guys would flip out and get over horney and heated up. Why is it ok for women to be gay but not guys ? Just wondering.
Most men would not be turned on by two lesbians in bed together. They imagine lesbian sex like it is in porn. No lesbian that I know gets it on with cherry red lipstick and fingernail polish, and keeps on her matching spike heels. . .
