It really depends on you more so than the drug but I remember when I used to frequent erowid there was a spiritual experiences and mystical experiences section for trip reports.

I would say...

Lsd=spiritual experience
mushrooms=mystical experience

Neither of them produce it 100% of the time for me but at the height of their profundity that's how I experience them.

I think neodude is kind of right in that the variables that come together to create any one moment are an infinity so it cannot truly be said that acid or mushrooms in and of themselves induce spiritual experiences or are inherently spiritual, though really I would disagree in a way on that point in that I believe everything to have a spiritual nature, but that would go for cheeseburgers as well and so it says nothing of the quality/essence of the entity's spirit but only that its spirit is existent, however whether or not this is perceived is completely up to the entities who interface with these entities. despite this, I feel both acid and mushrooms are valuable tools for the spiritual seekers, but some spiritual basis is usually necessary in the individual prior to ingestion in order for the following experience to be perceived as spiritual... or maybe not...

basically I would say all substances can be used for spiritual aims and in the right beings in the right places and at the right times, quite successfully. acid, mushrooms, etc seem to be more likely for success though
