They are still working on highway projects that he botched.

 

He also seems to be obsessed with sex.

 

I don't know if him being a mormon has something to do with that...I haven't done much research on the mormons since that religion isn't really interesting to me.

When the Big Dig started, my father's team on the Mass Pike was responsible for the construction.

Romney put an end to it and claimed that Mass Pike workers were not allowed near the project, so he hired another company that he didn't have to pay as much and (as all of us massholes know) used shitty adhesives and cements and BOOM! Botched Big Dig project that we are still working on...going on, what? Over 20 years now?

THEN, Romney washed his hands of it until that woman died from the ceiling collapse, and he made a big appearance in the middle of the night with his crew and talked about how this company was so terrible and he wanted his [trusted] Mass Highway workers to fix the issues...

And this is the man that's running for president...

When it comes to Canadian politics, well just putting those two words together Canadian and politics and all of a sudden I'm a bit sleepy

Republicans are scary? Democrats and Republicans are scary. People who believe in politics scare me, quite frankly. The nonsense that is spewed by both sides is just....

To me, a person has to be pretty far gone to believe anything a politician says at face value.

 

I agree, and I especially don't trust Ron Paul. I don't care what his voting record looks like, it is all rigged like pro-wrestling. Good cop/Bad cop, they are all on the same side.

I think Romney a dipshit! The whole GOP is! I'm sick of hearing how they want to take away our rights and keep us in the dark ages. I want a President that works for the middle class, the average citizen, the underdog.

Obama's speech last night was very moving. He isn't perfect but at least he isn't a crazy woman hater!

 

Rat-yeah politics are fucked,but it's all we have,so we have to deal with what we have. And what we have is Dems vs Repubs. So on that level,we must make a choice. I will choose the man who was poor and worked his way UP as opposed to a silver spoon ,entitled man who was given a hand up by birth. On this basis,we the citizens have to decide which man will consider the majority of us, as opposed to a man that represents a small minority. A man who WAS middle class vs a man that was never even close to middle class and that does not care about the middle class at all. So you-all stay home if you want and fuck voting,but don't come back and whine about Pell grants disappearing,Roe v Wade gone,millions fucked out of any kind of healthcare,etc,ect. But that's OK--I'm sure everyones parents have plenty of money to loan.

 

Romney creeps me out. I get mail every other day from his campaign. Why the hell they have my address and think I have any interest or extra money to donate to a sinfully rich politician, I haven't a clue.

I read in jon krakaurs book under the banner of heaven that Mormons are very adept at milking the system. They frequently tie up their wages in the church, have a billion kids, and happily take government welfare. I wonder if Romney ever considers this when he spews all his anti welfare rhetoric, or if he only considers people of color capable of milking the system.
