After a discussion with my parents, both of whom put a fair amount of credence in astrology, I decided to figure out which astrological sun signs were most common among US presidents. It turned out that there was a nearly equal distribution among all signs, much the same as a selection of the same number of random people. So it seems like there is nothing in the sun sign, (taken by itself), that determines whether one will hold the office of US president. Thoughts? FWIW I'm not some complete skeptic. I am open-minded about astrology as my dad is quite knowledgeable in it and he ties in everything very well. I also feel like my personality is well explained by my astrological chart.
Sun sign has nothing to do with it. There are other indicators you have to take into account. You won't see them so much as presidential indicators specifically, more like indicators of importance. It would be difficult to take a chart of a successful business man for example and separate it from a president. Even those indicators require a highly trained astrologer to find. You won't get it from a Sun sign though.
