    Is so cool! I didn't know shit about stars until last night, but we have a friend who's like our very own Doc (think Back to the Future), and he's been into stars and stuff for 50 years or so and he got out his telescope out last night and showed me Saturn and Jupiter. Man, that's so incredibly cool...I never thought I'd be looking at a planet from the middle of town. I also finally discovered the Big Dipper and Scorpio. It was so neat.

    You should read Chindi by Jack McDevitt (sp?)... it's a neato book, has a lot set around astronomical features (future/scifi book, but good stuffs)

    The solar system is so vast, it's amazing to think all those things are out there, and some we may never see...

    I love to go out to the country and look at the stars at night... it's just beautiful.... there are so many ... sigh.

    mmmm i always have my head in the clouds, staring at the sky my entire life, i absolutely love the stars :)

    Yeah, I like it from the mountains out west. Pretty. You can see tons of stars, so many more than back here in PA. (humidity)

    Best view I have ever had is in the winter while out in the desert mountains while driving thru Nevada and also in Wyoming.
