i have a really boring question but i hope you will care to answer. i'm the kind of girl who always looks cool, i have loads and loads of beautiful clothes, and i mean that stuff is drop dead fantastic- you don't have to be gay or a girl do understand that :) i live with my boyfriend (2 years 6 months) and of course at first i wore make up all the time and i was wearing my sexy designer clothes even at home just to look my best for him, but honestly i have turned a bit lazy lately. i never wear t-shirts or sportswear! but now that it's winter it's more about keeping warm

so please tell me what is the minimal a girl has to do with herself to please her boy? how would you like to see your girl at home?

i would like to see her wear her worst (no makeup, etc), so i can show her it doesnt matter what she looks like its about the love. i want her to feel comfortable no matter what shes got on. Isnt it to stressful to try and impress someone 24/7?

I live with two guys. I have a lot of fun taking my time making my hair and clothing look just right. I've spent a lot of money of "loungey" clothes, stuff I can wear around the house. But, I'd never be caught dead in track pants! I like silky pajama bottoms, satin robes, silk teddies, velvet dressing gowns, etc. When it gets cold, I layer several different items and keep a warm blankie nearby.

As for stress, well, I find spending my time getting all dolled up, actually is relaxing for me. I enjoy it very much, as do I enjoy the comments my efforts recieve. In the end, I behave/dress in the manner that gives me the most pleasure, and often find it pleases the men, as well. I'm not out to impress anyone but myself, and when she's happy, it's all good.:p

I know I'm not a guy, but this reminds me of something. A couple months ago, I was hanging out at a friend's place when two girls that were friends of his girlfriend dropped by and they were absolutely adorable, beautiful girls. If they were wearing make up, it was very minimal and very natural. Tonight I was hanging out at that same friend's and they came by and they were both dolled up and truthfully, I was really disappointed. They were hiding their natural beauty underneath all that make-up.

Admittedly, I wear eye make-up on nearly a daily basis, very neutral colors (brown eyeshadow, black eyeliner/mascara), but otherwise I hate messing with make-up. It's okay to accent your natural features a little, but all the stuff they have now is just ridiculous. My mom spends, I kid you not, 2 hours minimum every single day putting on her make-up, whether she plans on going out or staying in. There is no reason for that...even when getting ready for prom, it took me 10 minutes max. I'm a very low-maintenance person, I guess.

Anyway, as far as my boyfriend is concerned, he likes me to be comfy and loves it when I go completely natural (no make-up, no shower, just me) for a day every now and then and he likes it when I dress up for him every now and then. I think that's pretty much the general consensus of most guys, they want you to be you and just comfy around them for the most part with a little spice every now and then. I think if you're with a guy who expects you to look like Britney Spears 99% of the time, you're wasting your time. Guys like surprises every now and then, but if you're always dressing to impress, you're never showing the real you or giving an opportunity for surprise.

For every drop dead gorgeous woman out there, there's a guy sick of sleeping with her.

If things go up or down in your relationship, your makeup isn't going to be a real factor.

i like my women natural ..minimal makeup .....as far as clothes .some of the most casual clothes can be the sexiest of clothes ..like an old worn t-shirt that is almost transparent .try that someday to see if that don't spark his interest ..lol

Thank you Bella Donna :) i think i'm going to do the same - I'll get some new clothes to wear around the house :) i'm so tired of wearing supertight super low waist jeans all the time, though they are my favourites.
you know,i have Never bought anything because it was practical or comfortable :D

Yeah, I agree with that totally. I love a girl who can just be comfortable being herself around me, being really natural. But it is nice to dress up every now again, to look really sharp and dangerous for a night just for some variety and spice.

It's also nice for both of us to dress up if we're heading out to do urban-city-date stuff, I think, but I really like to dress up and look stylish like that myself. It's more about "look good = feel good" for me. Adds to the whole feel of the evening.

It all depends- staying in, or going out just to chill and have fun: relaxed look. Night on the town: jazzed up. Pretty sensible, I think.

But when spring comes, the sandals, khakis, and t-shirts come out, and they don't come off till fall!
