It was a rhetorical question. I don't think there is anything bad they will want to do with that information. The investigator assigned to me would probably fall asleep on the job.

When Amanda Knox goes back, she may be looking for a new roommate. ;) Maybe she can help me meet black guys. :D

So motive seems to be the older brother had a kid with a girl, dropped out of uni, more into his religion, ended up angry with everyone....thus take it out on marathon runners, as one does

Does this not make sense to anyone else

But if those new drones could follow people around indoors...
    :reddevil:

It does seem like a stupid plan. But it isn't as stupid as being a suicide bomber.

There was a good reason for the lockdown. I think the Governor made a gutsy call, considering that money usually determines everything, and the lockdown caused a quarter billion dollars of lost economic activity.

I think you should chill out. Perhaps the government isn't as corrupt as you think. Perhaps it can occasionally do good.

I've been in countries that don't live much different than they did 300 years ago and trust me. No fucking local deputies are sitting outside their homes keeping detailed and cataloged information about anyone. Try visiting a place like Katmandou and see for yourself what I'm talking about.

    As for law enforcement

I could give a shit less about what law enforcement thinks I may or may not be doing. It still comes down to that if anyone tries to put a camera on me I'll shove it down their arrogant throat.

Nobody has any business watching or cataloging what I do. And just because you're willing to live under those conditions don't take it upon yourself to volunteer me for similar treatment. I personally would rather take my chances being raped, killed or blown up.

You want to live like someone's house pet then you go for it. That's your problem not mine.

My parents grew up in towns small enough that anyone could ask around and find out what everybody else was up to. There was no expectation of privacy. Everybody had strong opinions on everything that everybody else did. I hate places like that.

At the time of the American Revolution, Philadelphia was our largest town, with a population of around 25,000 people.

So are you saying your parents are over 300 years old?

And what was the official title of these deputy spies that watched and recorded everyone on what they did and where they were going ?

In the US, from Columbine to the Boston Bombers, Breivik in Norway to even all these recent gang rape cases in India. There does seem to be a common theme, angry young men late teens to late 20s, brought up with a sense of entitlement, some of them a little nuts, but sooky cos hey were brought up told the world owes them everything, but that didnt happen.

The Boston Bombings will probably be classed as terrorsim, chechnyan or even islamic fundamentlism....even though by the sounds of it with the older brother it sounds more like that, sooky he didnt end up getting everything, didnt even have the balls to go back home and fight the russians, take it out on something that doesnt have anything to do with anything about him, just some event that was near where they were currently living

I'm not religous in any way, but sick of people blaming that, or other lame excuses, when all these guys are just spoilt little shits. Even Bin Laden himself was a spoilt little rich boy on an ego trip.

'Resistance isn't futile' mention Nepal, which is a great example, this shit doesnt happen there. And its sandwiched between India and China, wealthier countries, more technologically advance, but where the guys are brought up to believe they are owed everything and that ego just gets rewarded.

I also have to agree with Res on the camera in your face thing, whats more likely to happen is that they'll cover up their faces more, so with something brief, we'll never find out their identity....AND more people will end up getting beaten to death for whipping out their iphone

I have to correct you there, a lot of shit has happened in Nepal as well. Maoist rebels tried to overthrow the government and a lot of violence was used and many people were killed.

The violence there are brought about by external forces with multiple interests. Don't kind yourself, it's the United States and my shitty nation playing politics with China for the benefit of transnational corporations. Many if not most of the rebels didn't even speak the language.

But back to the orginal part of what I was saying
No one is spying on you there.

I was referring to 'this kind' of stuff.

But even what you said is a great example, they were civil about their civil war and you are talking about a civil war heavily influenced by a foreign power

The acts of indivduals, not political struggles. Point still stands, you dont get this stuff in Nepal, you dont get the gangrapes like next door in India you dont get guys shooting up preschools over mommy issues

from the this event a pair of falsies emerge :

    1. we are attacked because we are good
    2. the govt has never enabled an attempted attack

i've heard both of these stated several times just lately . undisputed ,
they begin to stand as factual . the second supports the first with
a lie , and the first is a strange beast - a beast of the east .
