Here are some photos of the northern lights. It was a clear night with the temperature at about -35F.

I live just far enough north to occasionally experience the Northern Lights (usually after a solar flare) but it's nothing like you regularly experience :)

Those are really cool pics, I used to sit on my porch and get high while watching the northern lights when I lived in Edmonton Canada a few years back, the lights sure are pretty and sometimes noisy!

    Freein :

When the northern lights start dance'in , we put Collective Soul on and crank it up, open the windows and jump up and down. They seem to like it. Oh what the hell, we have a good time.

that's amazingly awesome...I hope to one day be far enough north to see that for myself, but in the meantime here at the arse end of the southern hemisphere I'll have to content myself with that...wow.

I remember seeing displays when I lived in Maine- away from urban light interference. Those pictures are spectacular!

I think these are pictures of spirits. And no, I don't believe in any form of theology.

Yea, we put on the tunes, usually the dead or something of the same ilk, and instead of jumping up and down we tend to howl. They seem to like that too...... and the bowl is always warm.
