Who else enjoys the Beta Band as much as I do? I just picked up an album of theirs, I think its called 3 EP's or something like that... really beautiful stuff. It's very soft and calming, and a little bit of planned musical chaos at the same time.
Hey Broad... Awesome... The Beta Band is Off the Hook... I haven't heard that "3 EPs," but it sounds awesome... I am familiar with their album "From Heroes to Zeros," which is their most recent release. That is an incredible album... Check out Track # 3 ("Lion Thief") Oohhh... Killer... Beta Band is equal parts Syd Barrett and Radiohead with a dash of Chris Martin's vocal quality for good measure... I like the Beta Band a lot...
yeah i heard them and liked them a lot! i saw a live set at glasto a few years ago, and i was impressed then. they seemed to be just having fun more than anything, and messing around with electronics too.
