Babylon 5

I am a big Babylon 5 fan, quite possibly the best Sci-Fi series ever!
The last best hope for peace!
Anyone else a fan?

 

I ADORE Bab5. Soooo totally good. I really wish the dvd sets would drop a little in price though, they're pretty expensive up in Canada for some reason still, <3

 

I am glad I am not the only one! I ordered the 1-5 set from amazon.com, now I will have to get the movies! I paid $480, I think around that, American.
Who was your favorite character? I am torn between Lando and Garibaldi because they were both a little nuts! LOL

 

actually one of the few scifi series I was just never able to get into. Think it was because every episode I saw seemed really military. Its exactly the same with Battlestar Galatica, my geek Hubby loves it but I can't get into it.

 

sorta off topic.. but in highschool this group of guys would call me "babylon 5" and won't tell me why.. anyone have any idea what that could have meant?

i8 loved it .. i would never miss a episode... unfortunatly it started to lose its atraction because i also wished to go out with my friends.. The original series peaked just as i was having other things to think about .. booze birds and the like.. Thankfuly i got to watch them all over again thanks to the sci fi channel.

I have to say it did 'lose the plot' near the end.. but overal it was great.. far superior in tone and content and acting than Star trek .. i loved that show also, but B5 was more well erm GREAT alround....

probably because i'm totally confused. i never watched the show. and it still bugs me that they'd call me that and not explain..

I have no real idea apart from you may have looked like a actress in the show.. heavens maybe even with the sun behind you you may have even looked like the space station itself.. but thats not very nice.

You should.. maybe not ask why they called you that name though. it might be something very very dull. I'ts a great resource for children also.. a tad violent but nothing to bad... apart from the torture.. erm maybe watch each episode first.. i was more thinking the unity and team work and values etc etc etc

 

Perhaps you reminded them of some character on the show?
