No., I was looking forward to seeing it,.. Im kinda digging the ovation channel , good arts stuff on about Andy Warhol.... bout to go to the Andy Warhol museum ,, taking a trip..
I love that show. Scot Bakula looks young enough to do it now. I wonder if a show has ever been brought back 16 years later.
LOL I saw what you did there! I said that in the past tense, because it's been quite a while since Ive seen it. But I do still love it. hehe Im struggling to recall any show that has came back after that much of lay off, though Im sure... hey, didnt The Munsters have a lame remake over 20 years after the original series ended? lol
Hehe...when I noticed you were modyfying your post I thought you might be altering that post. It's on Bravo or some such TV station every day bar the weekends. So, to clarify...It's on Monday to Friday. Yeah, that's one. A bad one. I guess, the Prisoner, Dark Shadows...erm, Crossroads...were also brought back. I remember hearing about a film a while ago...with the A-team rebooted, they might do the same thing with QL. Stranger things have happened.
I did think about it, as soon as I posted that, I knew it could have been taken literally for laughs.. lol Bravo? I dont have access to that channel. It is a bad one, though strangely I can still remember the line "we went to sleep 1000 years ago, but now we're back with a brand new show", from the revamped theme tune. Weird. Crossroads? yeuch! I was trying to forget that one. hehee The only thing that would worry me if they brought back QL, is remakes/reboots are more often than not, terrible. They usually lose the magic that made the original show great, in the attempt to "modernise" it.
Sorry, forum rules state: blindingly obvious jokes have to be followed through. Too bad. Though, it's probably best to remember it fondly with misty eyes.. and not see the flaws with fresh eyes. Thanks for reminding me too... I was cluching at straws at that point. Wiki: Feature Film... According to Scott Bakula at the TV Guide panel during the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con, show creator Donald Bellisario is working on a script for a Quantum Leap feature film.:2thumbsup::2thumbsup: However, he also indicated Dean Stockwell and he would not be reprising their roles as Al and Sam
What? No Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell means I won't be interested in any QL feature film. Even with them, Id have doubts they could pull it off now, but without them... its a pretty much guaranteed fail.
Why are we celebrating the anniversary of this movie so late in the year when it was originally released in July?
October 26, 2010; twenty-five years to the day from the date of the fictional events from the first film.
