Bar shampoo

I found a bar shampoo that i'm thinking of buying. The ingredients are listed below. Would it be alright for my dreads? Also, would it be ok if i washed all of my locks one time? They feel oily and gunky.

Ingredients:
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Water (Aqua), Cade Oil (Juniperus oxycedrus), Lavender Oil (Lavendula hybrida), Marigold Petals (Calendula officinalis), Rose Petals (Rosa centifolia), Perfume, Colour

 

iuse knotty boy dread bar & i really like it..wash your dreads at least once a week..once or twice a week
that bar u found doesnt sound bad at all though, i've used all sorts of things..& got hooked on the knotty boy bar.;.

So it would be ok to wash all my hair? I thought it was only good to wash your scalp?

yeah, you want to wash all your hair, or else everything that ever is stuck in your hair... is, well... stuck in your hair.

 

well if u wash your scalp good & rince it through the dreads thats usualy good enough, however if your hairs getting kinda dirty feelin go ahead & wash it all..i usualy only wash it all when theyve been draggin through the mud

but every once in awhile if theyre just real dirty i'll wash em all

but in general just rinsing through the rdreads will get em plenty clean if u didnt use wax or any kinda thing that builds up & attracts dirt

I would encourage anyone using shampoos...even people with out locks to take a serious look at SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate)...
