Basic and everyday things in life that get to you

Microwave dinners. It's made so you can prepare and eat it as quickly as possible in order to get more stuff done, like working! So you can get enough money to buy more of this stuff.

Contracts. "Here's a sheet of paper which defines our whole relationship." Forget about our feelings, human kindness and the vast ways that we communicate and interact freely with each other, let's reduce all that to a list - "you do this, I do that".

 

I get really bothered by people that let small things bother them.

For serial. I'm not trying to be a smart ass lol. I really do find myself getting really irritated when I'm around people that get annoyed by small things. I wanna smack 'em and tell them to go step into a million other shoes around the globe.

 

people that never stop talking, yet have nothing to say.

And impatient drivers. I'm sick of almost getting run over all the time because someone's paying more attention to the traffic than the road they are turning onto.

How can you tell it bothers them? If you mean those that complain, screw up their face and go into convulsions because the local supermarket doesn't stock their favorite cereal, I totally agree.

So what do you do? How do you not let it bother you? It either bothers you or doesn't, I would have thought, no control. If you have even the slightest embryo of a heart you would be bothered by child labor, pollution and violence or the way advertising and the media is slowly poisoning our minds even if you do repress your reaction.

 

I agree with Lostthoughts. I was at a cookout at my best friends house last weekend and her cousin was there...this girl never shuts up...I heard the story of every pair of pants she owns and I heard the terrible trials of how long it took her to make meatballs.

Lawn mowing on a weekend.
Now I know it's gotta get done but it fills up a nice relaxing day with a constant drone of everyone mowing. I don't even want to go sit outside.

 

People who are trying to think of their order as they are paying (coffee for example) as if they didn't have time before. Good job now you are creating a line of people.

 

people who use a debit card for a $2 purchase (and of course they have worn out cards that need to swiped a half million times)

 

people who don't cover their mouths when they cough or sneeze

 

Guys that feel the need to register on HF and feel it necessary to post in every Masturbation and Sex thread.

I realize they need to build up their post count, and it really isn't a "Basic and everyday things in life that get to you", unless you come here everyday.

I'm sure I necro'd many a "sex" thread in my early days, but not all at once.

It bothers me because I always click on "New Posts" and I'm tired of the 1st couple of pages being riddled with 4 year old masturbation surveys.

 

People who tell me how I am supposed to feel about certain things.

 

Me too unless if i ask for their opinion then that would be different and people who think they are better then everyone else.
