Walking in a playful drizzle of sapphire sunlight, I laugh a lavender laugh as I watch the Mazarine butterfly flit from cyan sunflowers to cerulean roses. I stop a moment to breathe deep the azure scent of the crisp cobalt grass wafting on the sweet emerald breeze. Looking into the vast golden sky, I chuckle at how everything turns inside out when your mind is bathed in blue.
*GASP* Can this be my very same Bhaskar, the one I used to dreamily converse with all those whiles ago? It's Firebelle - if you are that same Bhaskar, do you remember me? As regards the poem; I like the way you have kept up the theme of colour, and threaded it through the poem from beginning to end. I especially love the idea of a 'lavender laugh'. Beautiful.
Yes, I am indeed 21...and you really do say the sweetest things, I never did take your breath away! I was naive then and I'm naive now - some things don't change - just like your lovely, melodious poetry It's so brilliant to hear from you! XxX
I would say innocent. Naievete is weakness, innocence is strength. And your poetry is strong and unique and beautiful. You, dear one, are innocent.
Aww, now I'm blushing...innocence is a tricky thing I think! I've never thought of innocence as being either a weakness or a strength, though both innocence and weakness have a sense of vulnerability about them, but in very different ways. Whether I am really innocent or not, I've perfected the look of innocence, that's true...ha ha! X

Nice poem. You managed to keep the colour idea going without being cliched or boring. I really think a 'lavender laugh' sounds just great. Peace, A.
