I like to wear my beard Abraham Lincoln style....lol

Its functional because there is no hair around my mouth, or the cheekbone, so it looks more presentable even though ive never trimmed the acual bead part yet (3 months)....

And then when I kiss the females, they dont complain about it as well, because there is no hair around my mouth. And eating food goes alot more smoothly as well. Also, my face doesnt get as hot like with the traditional beard..

i like to rock a beard, then shave, then let it grow again, then shave it again, then let it grow.... you get the idea. that's how i take care of my beard.

i was growing a beard all winter, then got antsy and excited about warmer weather (although, not TOO warm!) sometime in february or march and shaved it off. then i started growing it back again because it was still cold. now that it's fully back, it'll be here until it's summer-warm.

only once did i ever attempt trimming it, and that was years ago. i realized that you need to comb it first, then use a beard trimmer - not just the trimmer solo. i'm not into putting that much effort into it. hence the complete shaving and re-growing. much easier!

plus, you get to be creative with what you shave off and what you dont. you know, huge-ass sideburns, moustaches, fu manchus, the list goes on...
I probably only shave a few times a year.

yeah, beards freak me out unless they're on a old hippy (man) but even, then I don't think I'd every fully trust a man w a beard..why would you want to cover half your face, what else are you hiding? :p

The hair grows on our face naturally, so we really aren't covering anything up. It's more like looking like someone your not when you shave everyday, trying to hide something by not letting all your hair grow. I have grown facial hair since I could at the age of 18. I trim it regularly with a beard trimmer so I avoid looking like a dirty hippie all the time. I haven't used a razor since. I hate shaving. IMO, it says anything it shows more character to have facial hair because today's world is all about clean cut people.

If their beards look like old growth dreads then they look good. If you beard looks splotchy or like it's missing hair, it looks nasty. But I dislike mustaches.

Beard trimmer would be the way to help maintain it.

I hate hair around the lips....its scratchy and gross. I prefer stubble though over beards....The word "beard" is strange.

the pressure put on a man to shave his naturally growing beard is one of the many forms of emasculation and social conditioning.

I just let mine grow, but I do trim the mustache so i can eat.

Pretty funny to not trust a man with a beard luxiebow..talk about labeling and being judgemental based on appearance. A beard is a pretty natural thing on a man.

    yeah...

Luxie you wear makeup don't you? You dye your hair? Your covering up lots of stuff to make you appear something your not. You comment makes no sense.
