First of all, nice job quoting Gerald Manly Hopkins. Secondly, Christianity for many people is about love and justice. True, for many it is about doom-filled revelations, but for others it is prophecy about the possibility of justice in the world. Micah 6 says And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. You sound like a Christian.
