bed bugs are no longer

just a bedtime saying here in the US.....

its starting to become an epidemic with all these foreigners coming into the US and staying in hotels with bedbugs in their luggage and whatnot.

 

when dave and his buddies went to DC their hotel beds were so infested wth bedbugs that they slept in the van instead.

 

right, and its not necessarily that its a filthy hotel, or anything like that........ even 4 star hotels are infested with bed bugs.

 

yep. nice places giving people body lice...

 

watch out for the scabies!

 

nasty. i like to take my own pillows on road trips. other people's stuff smells wrong.

scabies burrow in the skin..... bed bugs bite and suck out blood.... and travel elsewhere

 

Fuck that, I would prefer bedbugs. Anything that burrows under my skin is definitely not welcome.

Ewww. I'm grossed out. That makes me NEVER want to go and sleep in a Hotel/Motel.

That just sucks. I'll never get THAT thought out of my head.

Hotels are supposed to bleach the sheets and wash everything in hot water. That doesn't kill them or are they now all over the comforters and blankets too? Damn that sucks.

bed bugs hide very well, and usually getting rid of bedding or a bed does not get rid of them. they hide in curtains, behind pictures, furniture, etc...... they just dont hang around in a bed.

 

no, a certain kind of pesticide got rid of them.... so they werent as prevalent in the US, but that pesticide has been banned, and now we are seeing more because of tourists and foreigners coming from other countries to stay in hotels.....

my teacher told us that once.haha

 

all I know is, if you smell a scent of raspberries when you go into a hotel, get the funk out!!
