Mind you, I don't mind my mind, or mind if my mind minds, I find my mind kind, refined, benign, and my mind finds mine and thine divine, and minds kind minds just fine.
Lucy So you are a foetus that has just gained consciousness.? [a blank canvas...tabulae rasa] Well done for a literate human. And deductively false. Occam
i've never been a blank slate as long as i've ever had any physical form in any life and a even little bit before that. at no point are we discontiguous from the nontangable unkown: though we expierence existence as discrete awairnessess, at least in this tangable realm into which we are born, for the most part, inhabiting organic lifeforms, which inturn enable us to craft means of creative expression, thereby immitating what may very well after all be, our own true selves. the words with which we come closest to approximating descriptions of reality are unfamiliar to almost everyone, while those with which we deceive ourselves about it are universaly common. this may be why we experience what is beyond the grasp of physical senses best when we dispense with imposing names and deffinicians on it and simply permit ourselves to experience and interact with it in its own way, on its own terms, for its own sake. this is what organized beliefs miss by their very act of claiming the names and deffinicians they impose on it which are like the final vail we impose between ourselves and that of which we are after all never other then totaly part and parcil while experiencing uniquely and seperately each in our inhierently pre-inclinded garden of diversity of perceptions. =^^= .../\...
Lucy Of course occam will be literal. Are you saying that what you said is not to be taken literally? If so.. please state at beginning of your posts. "dont take me literally" Occam
literally, literarily. two entirely different concepts. lucy, i got ya! try to keep the mind free of negative filters.
i wasn't referring specifically to yourself, occam, as being negative. i was referring to lucy's blank slate being an attempt at keeping her own mind free of negative filters.
Mynameiskc When Lucy can describe the function of 'negative filter' Occam will accept that "behind me is a blank canvas" Is something she composed. [Cliquey goth existentialism] Occam
right on. i would suppose a negative filter being one that doesn't function on a rational level. some nastiness ingrained by the habits of people around us. nothing but prejudice.
