best metallica album?

heyho you all.

this thread/poll has probably been done before but i wasn't here so it isn't valid

just asking your favorite tallica album. i'm kinda stuck between 'ride the lightning' and 'load'. and just so you all know, it was 'st. anger' that inspired me to buy the rest of metallica albums.

you include load in your list? wow, that ranks just above st. anger on my list(St.Anger is the worst album ever released by any band I ever once loved). ride/master/justice are all close , but everything after black was a waste of time , IMHO.
Feel free to disagree with me, I know I feel free to spout my opinions.

 

i admit i was most impressed with the album. pulling teeth is a great song!

i think justice for all is one of the worst metallica ones. i like it because they got the balls to put out different records and put the growth of the band before pleasing fans, that's great. i think load is amazing, st anger isn't my favorite but i do like it a lot too.

like i said, the one i like least is justice and i was pretty disappointed with master of puppets, i kinda like it now too but it's nothing compared to lightning.

 

as for the best song. i vote "Seek and Destroy"

Cliff led the band. they have sucked since his influenced waned. even Jason Newguy realized it and left.

 

i think jason newsted was the best bassist. he's a beast of a bassist and suited the "image" of the band best. i think trujillo is crap, especially for someone who has played bass since the age of 14. he's only funny because he looks like a monkey on speed when playing bass

 

Whoa...whoa....whoa.....to say they have sucked since Cliff died is a bit of a stretch. I think their only true stumble so far is St. Anger, I even enjoyed the Loads.

 

eww the load albums were terrible!!!!!!!!!! especially reload.

anyways, my vote is for master of puppets, need I say anymore?

Ya know. the show they did with the san fransisco sympony orcestra. so it'd be them and Metallica. S&M

 

...And Justice for All, hands down. That was their most technical album. It was really impressive. It's just too bad that they had to run out of creative juice after than album. All of the albums while Cliff was alive were good, too, but they were either too thrashy, or weren't quite heavy enough. The producation quality on Kill 'Em All is terrible, so it makes it very painful to listen to it.

it's like the worst album ever......totally boring apart from maybe few songs....

i think loads are great (esp load) they show that they are capable of a different direction and to me they seem a lot darker than the other albums.

i think st anger is a good album (not my favorite!), that's the first metallica album i bought.

and RTL deserves the first place, by far the best metallica album!

metallica sucks, i cant stand listening to any of their shit anymore... they sued napster, what a bunch of fucking fuckers.... how much of a greedy sellout do you have to become to sue file sharing companies?

Fuck metallica, even though their first shit was alright.
