What's your favorite music to listen to when high?

Mine is either of the following:
-Awesome / trippy / interesting rock (Radiohead, Godspeed You Black Emperor!, Sigur Ros, Sufjan Stevens, etc.)
    -Insane, hard-bop jazz

One time, I was listening to Paranoid Android by Radiohead, and at one point in the song, I imagined I was in a music video for the song, and I was being lowered into a grave. It was craaaaazy.

Depends on the mood...I usually try to avoid metal and electronica when I'm high. I love listening to some reggae or bluegrass while blazing on a hot summer day. Maybe some nice classical stuff during the winter. There's always the good ol' standbys...Sublime, Beatles, RHCP, Tori Amos. (my standbys....mind you. :)

I also love listening to the music that I listened to my first year of smoking...which is mainly sublime, incubus, beatles, modest mouse, nirvana. It sets an awesome mood.

TheShow, you know where you can get some good live shows at? I know about Archive.org but they wont let you DL the shows with where the tapers have set up at soundboard.

WOOOOOOOOOOAH! Depth you just made me remember something that was fucking awesome.
One day we got really high in the woods, and when we were walking through the sound of wind in the trees and the stream going by turned into a symphony.
If you are a person that loves nature definitely go out to a woody area and listen, it can be amazing!

Other than that, get some metal, like some yngwie malmsteen, or some bodom, or apocalyptica, the classical metal is always the coolest.

I like many different kinds of metal, NO RAP, some Marley, some old rock (doors, floyd), I've been listening to Terry Reid lately and he is amazing. I suggest you dl Seed of Memory if ur baked. Very good stuff just to listen to whilst chilling baked. Peace

i like to listen to a lot of the mars voltawhen i'm high but sometimes their music is so intense i can't handle it so i just switch over to indie-rock or folk. there's also times, usually when i'm also drinking, that i can't listen to anything but the beastie boys instrumental.

I've been listening to psychedelic trance lately. The first time I listened to it I was really stoned and it tripped me out so much I had to stop after a few minutes... Man was it intense.

The classics like the Beatles, The Doors, Zeppelin, Hendrix, Cream, Ten Years After, Pink Floyd, and Jefferson Airplane. But sometimes its fun to lean towards more trippy stuff like Radiohead or Boards of Canada. And Blues is always fun too (so far Lightnin' Hopkins, Blind Willie Mctell, Skip James and Magic Sam are my favorite blues artists to light up to).
