I really like the version from 1968.03.17, but there are tons of great Other One's, especially in the 60's!

They played a great Other One at Shoreline in May!

1989-04-09 is crazy. Not my favorite, but I was listening today and dan healy puts the craziest effects of the vocals. Sounds like extraterrestrial background singers. The band used to always get pissed off because he would put these insane effects on the vocals and it would go into the audience, but on the bands mixers they couldn't hear it.

I don't know if it's the best, but recently I was listening to 06-18-1974...

    JAM>The Other One>CRAZY Jam>It's A Sin Blues Jam>Stella Blue

Also, 2-28-1969, Fillmore West - ''That's It For The Other One'' is pretty wild.

i really dig 9/17/82 from portland, me.....love the tension as they work their way from spanish jam into the other one...on the audience tapes you can feel the crowd hanging on every note
