I have always been quite the adrenaline junky my whole life, and i have gotten to the point where the more dangerous of a thing i do the more i get the adrenaline reward, so i have been pretty crazy on the roads and lately i have been a little bit too crazy. I value my life more than anything of course, so i think i'm going to give the whole going fast thing a rest. (won't go AS fast). I have always been into video games and when i was younger it was a very good source of adrenaline, but the last year or two i have found that i don't get a real sense of danger by safely being in my house staring at a screen. So i was wondering what do you adrenaline junkies do that is crazy fun but reasonably safe? My favorite things other than driving is snowboarding (favorite) and mountain biking. I just want a bigger variety of ideas. thanks. Edit: oh yeah also if you have really good salvia than breaking through on that is one of the best rushes. Thats a really good thing for me i need more good salvia.
hmm ATV and dirt bikes (we use to hit some crazy ass trails and jumps through the woods all out) paintball parkour trainsurf (this usually turned out really bad everytime I tried it and someone usually ended up getting hurt, but the stories are worth it lol) we use to go tunnel creeping, we'd walk miles of underground drains and stuff like that, it was alot of fun, I almost slipped down a pipe that looked like it dropped hundreds of feet one time though exploring old abandoned buildings can be great too, not only is it spooky sometimes, you might actually find something valuable or who knows what (hella storys from this, I did it alot with my dad)
Yeah i don't have the money for atvs or dirtbikes, but i did atving when i was like 15 on a tropical island my dad rented it for me. That was like one of my best vacation memories. They diddn't even care that i diddn't have a liscense or anything i could drive it wherever and i found so many cool little streets to go like 50 mph on it was so cool since i never had driven anything besides a mini dirtbike before that. I would love to take an atv on jumps and trails though. I did dirtbiking my first time a month ago. I went to my friends house that lives like 5 hours away and that was really awesome. Its really gnarly though and takes alot of strength like i stacked it off a little cliff and we had to both use all our strength to get it back up luckily hes really strong. Also i don't know if it was just the trail (probably cuz it was really dusty) but its really hard contolling dirtbikes like i had to put in a real effort to not turn too much and slip out of control. So yeah honestly i think mt bikings more my thing. Parkour sounds cool. Ive never heard it called that so i had to look it up, i always heard of that called free running. But yeah i don't live in a city, and it seems like it takes skills that i might not have. (like running up walls and doing flips without trampoline) I have attempted a backflip on flat grass before. I did it, but i realized very quickly that attempting it was a mistake since my head scraped the ground real hard lol. Could have snapped my neck if i diddn't try my hardest. Whats train surfing? you go on the top of trains? lol. The only train we have around here goes like 15 mph. Yeah theres a really crazy cave i know about, ive been really far down into it and it gets really hardcore like for some parts only skinny people can get through you have to squirm through like a worm and this is like when your already really far in there. It definately gets clausterphobic but also what makes it more intense theres like no oxygen. Thats what i hate about that i love always haveing oxygen but that is what makes it really rewarding to get back out again. Paintballings fun, not really that into it. Yeah neodude i already knew i would do that someday but its like a few hundred bucks i think.
Mountain Biking.. hands down.. nothing like whipping down a dirt/rock/mud path doing 20+mph.. ducking and dodging trees and rocks... you can also take it urban.. hucking staircases.. walls.. Skierdood will agree 10fold with this
theres this medication that inhibits your body from metabolizing adrenaline. so when your body releases it it hits you way stronger.
This is a really expensive option but.... Shark dives. You first have to become an open water certified diver and then you have to find a country that allows shark dives. Years ago, my dad did a shark dive (in the Bahamas I think). The dive master takes 4 or 5 people down and then someone in a mesh suit comes in with a bucket of fish chunks. The sharks show up pretty quick once the fish chunks hit the water. Of course, you are STRONGLY discouraged from even moving around while sitting on the bottom but once the sharks are done feeding, you have a little bit of time to search the bottom for shark teeth that fall off during feeding.
Paintball. Hiking at night while high. (fuckin' A! i have several miles of woods behind my house and it's awsome) uh.... spying on people. p...) going to abandoned places.
Yo that sounds awesome. Any way you remember what its called? do you need a perscription? is there weird side effects? Btw i live in santa cruz your like one of the closest people to me. Lol shark diving sounds crazy. It sounds really risky like more risky than speeding. Lol i used to spy on my neighbors when i was in 3rd grade, then somehow she found out and made it really weird like we were pervs or something. It is really fun but it really makes you a weirdo unless you really know them or something
lol its Atomoxetine. it actually works on a related chemical called noradrenaline (norepinephrine) really fucked up side effects: -dramatic increase in rates of suicidal thoughts -sexual dysfunction including painful orgasm and separation of orgasm and ejaculation (so one comes like 10 seconds before the other) -narcolepsy and it doesn't kick in unless you use it for three weeks of continuous use.
Yeah, idk about that drug, i'm usually really skeptical about pharms. Looks like you need a perscription too. And yeah neo dude that sounds sick. Notice i said reasonably safe in the op. If i ever want to get a real rush by risking myself then ill drive faster than i can handle. I love driving. I'm going to work at a snow resort this winter hopefully, snowboarding is the best way to get the most amount of adrenaline whilst being somewhat safe. That would suck to break your arms and legs though.
I love living to get as many adrenaline rushes as i can. I am sure that doing 200 mph on a small hwy would be more of a rush than just pointing a gun and wondering if its gonnah end or not. Because i assure you i wouldn't be that scared. I would just be sad that my life is going to end and theres nothing but luck to save me. Now going too fast, it all comes down to skill, going that fast you know that somethings going to happen, and you are contolling it. I couldn't more adrenaline from anything else.
