Better off single or dating?

Tell me what you think.

 

my first inclination is to go with single....... but going on dates and making out with random ppl can be fun....... sometimes. and of course to get a nice significant other you need to get to know him/her somehow.. so yeah, i dunno. i'm indecisive

 

yeah I'm indecisive too I tend to date but I always end up feeling like crap. But I love the freedom of life that being single offers me!

 

generally, i like being single. i was married and very un-single, so i've been on both sides of the fence. right now, at this moment in my life, single is good.

dating always ends in heart break for me..
so i prefer to be single..

 

I would have to say its a mix... Being single you get to be independant and find your self and spend your time on you.. But dating weather its a good relationship or a bad one.. you learn so much from it.. So you need both

 

What you don't need is dating. Dating was created to make the entertainment/restraunt industries money, and give the woman a free meal and also only meant for certain people. Dating gives the women all the power if u ask me. There are better ways to do things without even needing dating

 

OK dude I'm going to tell you how it is. Of course being single is the better way to go! You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that. So here are Arnold's pros and con's of dating.
1. dating cost money! Don't expect to save a dime if your dating someone, unless you stay at home all the time. If you pick her up in your car you've just burn money on her. If you buy her dinner you out $5 to $20 pending on where you go. See a movie at night you're going to fork out around $8 just for the movie and another $10 for refreshments.
2. Dating takes time. you have to put time into it and you'll alway's put in more then you are willing to give up. But you do it anyway because your a slave to her because if your getting any action at all you'll be cut off in a heart beat, and nobody likes being cut off.
3. Say good bye to your friends. Soon you'll knotice you're giving all your time to that girl instead of your buddies that you share farts with and drink beers with and watch football and do normal buddy things with. That piece of info was worth it's weight in gold right there!

NOW, Considering all that here is what your giving up.
1. Chicks are more fun then guy's. sorry but your buddies are second when it comes to chicks. Sorry buddies but if I'm with a Girl don't bother me.
2. Chicks look better and more fun then your friends. if they don't then... well maybe you should be getting more friendly with you bud's.
3. Chicks cost money but you will reak the benifits later as you'll more then likely either get some action or at least a hug (hey don't knock the hug you can still touch stuff if you play it cool!)

So in the end you got to ask your self 2 questions. Do I wanna have freedom and money? Or Do I wanna spend money, but not be lonely every friday night? that's about the best way I can sum it up to you. I'd go for money personally only because after you save enough money to have a girl friend you could afford her. lol sorry that just doesn't help either does it.

 

Spend money out the ass...love is the way to go

Well, not neccesarily spending money out the ass, just exagerating...but basically, I don't mind spending every dime I have on the person if need be...but really, I can have a good time with my girlfriend without spending all of my money on her, or losing my friends, I see my friends just as much as I used to and I still have money to spare...I just don't mind spending money on her, she never even asks, I just do.

there are pros and cons to both but my personal preference is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. being single is boring. At least I have something to do if I'm dating someone.

oh yeah, and to whomever said dating means goodbye to your friends... my idea of a great date IS sitting on the couch drinking beer and watching football!! Bring the guys over! I bet I can fart louder than any of you dudes...

I agree being single is fun for awhilke but going clubbing or shopping everynight loses it's appeal pretty quickly. Hanging out with a man who cares about you and renting movies far outways being grinded against by men you barely know and don't want to know...plus i don't like sex out of serious relationships so i got frustrated very easy while being single.
