Im getting my nipple(s) done tonight and i was wondering would it be better to get the both at one time or get them done a couple months apart
i got mine done in one appnt. i prefer to get such things over with and besides, many piercing shops will give you a discount on the second piercing if you get them together. theres no reason you cant get them together and it may make for easier (and shorter since theres no overlap of healing times) aftercare. the second one it waaay more intimidating though cause you already know what its going to feel like, at least i thought so. just do what you think youll be comfortable with.
theres no need to get them seperately.. the healing process may be slightly easier for your body if it does them seperately but this is only really a concern if you are getting many piercings at once.. many shops wont do more than 3 piercings (does depend on what) at once due to this circumstance.. just dont get a single nipple pierced twice at once. to anyone planning that, should let one heal first.
I figured I was already there... it would suck to have to go back, so fight through the pain and get them both done. I haven't regretted it.. and it's symmetrical... so it looks better.
I have eight tattoos, include large ones on both breasts, one on my ankle, one on my shoulder, and one between my shoulder blades. I also have eyebrow, earlobe, tragus (plural of this word?), rook, and other ear piercings. Getting my nipples pierced was the most painful thing I ever did. I use that pain as a gauge now and it is easier to go through other piercings because the discomfort is nothing in comparison. My nipples are 3/4" around and, speaking relatively, that is a heck of a lot of flesh for a 14 gauge hollow point needle to tunnel through. I had them done on separate occasions. Oddly enough, I thought it would be easier the second time. NOT! Only one piercing remains because the other started to migrate ... I liked it so much that I resisted removing it and tried a few home remedies but to no avail. I had to remove it finally when it seemed as though my nipple were about to sheer off.
