Big Brother Watching: To Whom It May Concern

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I am an Albanian-American, a moderate Muslim, born in 1959, in Skopje, Macedonia, Former- Yugoslavia; a proud citizen of the United States of America; a teacher, writer, artist and health-care professional. I lived in New York City from 1986 to 2005. October 2005, to escape police persecution, I moved to Arizona. From 1995 until 2005, NYPD had me under surveillance 24/7, then Arizona law enforcement picked up the harassment. May, 2008, I moved back to NY. And De ja vu all over again. I’ve always been law-abiding and never arrested anywhere in the world.

(A) In ‘94, I wrote an article in the NY Daily News, criticizing the Bush Administration for being unfair with journalists reporting from a war zone;
(B) I wrote a few articles about Islam, science and religion in a magazine;
(C) The same year, I was offered to work for the D.A. as a Language Specialist. They wanted me to listen to phone conversations and translate them in English for the D.A. I refused to spy on my fellow Americans.
And, that’s where it all began.

RETALIATION!!!

First, I was labeled as a ‘TERRORIST‘, which is preposterous. People were told I was a ‘National Security Threat’, ‘White Malcolm X’, etc. Furthermore, my phone was tapped and still is, computer, car, credit cards, mail intercepted, fired (September 10!), denied jobs, promotions, slandered, framed, isolated, maltreated, humiliated, vandalize my car, prank phone calls, invoke hatred (among neighbors, coworkers and at the gym), kicked me out of a restaurant, interfere in marriage, ruin my social life, credit, add false financial charges to drain my account, $10,000 were taken out of my safety deposit box. American law enforcement posing as tourist followed me around in Mexico, Caribbean Islands, Canada, England, France, Kosova, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Germany, Turkey, Qatar, U.A.E., Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore. In London airport I was asked if I knew how to make a bomb; December in Paris I was asked if I knew of any upcoming terrorist attack in NY Times Square; Also, in N.Y. I was told not to wear a T-shirt with the American flag on it; Dubai Police secretly confiscated all exposed 35mm film rolls. Also, they sent to my hotel room a young, attractive lady from Iraq. Without Search Warrant my apartment was searched and ransacked numerous times. I’m constantly followed around by police/informants and Interpol when I’m on vacation. And, in order to continue the harassment, law enforcement vehemently deny there is an ongoing investigation. I have overwhelming evidence of harm and wrongdoing committed by police, therefore, whenever I hire a law firm, they pressure the attorney not to provide me legal defense. Witnesses are verbally issued Gag Orders, intimidated and threatened for ‘obstructing the investigation’. I was denied political asylum in Canada. I have complained many times to the Governor, Mayor, DA, Inspector General, FBI, Congressmen, Senators, Center for Constitutional Rights, U.S. Department of Justice - Civil Rights, EEOC, ACLU-NY, ACLU-AZ, CAIR and Human Rights. I have written letters to Editors and Producers of 20/20, 60 Minutes, 48 Hours, Dateline, Voice of America, Muslim Voice, New York Newsday,The Arizona Republic. The law enforcement has made me totally radioactive. Never charged nor indicted and without a probable cause for over a decade, my civil, constitutional and human rights are being violated.

If I had done something, why don’t they arrest me?

Since I have not done anything wrong, why don’t they stop wasting tax-payers money? Only homicide doesn’t have Statute of Limitation.

What purpose is served with this post?

I have perused your other posts and find many things of value... but... After you have apparantly exhausted all other options, why turn to posting such a situation on a public forum in the "paranoia" area?

 

The truth, the only truth and nothing but the truth.This letter was published in the newspaper nationwide.I'm not braging nor asking for your sympathy.

The government would only devote the resources you listed earlier if you were a target of note. I would suggest that you rethink the events in your life and perhaps believe that you have had a stroke of bad luck. Additionally, how would you know that your phone was tapped and your personal information was being monitored. I assure you that there'd be no point in tracing your calls and financial transactions if it were clear to you that we were doing this. Agencies do not have the manpower or the funds to track a person of interest in the way you state. Hell, i wish we could devote that kind of money in tracking down abducted children and murderes.

 

so...what is the American equivalent of mein kumph?

 

For your information I am very much against the current investigative practices of the agencies both inside and outside of the country. It is one of those lesser of two evils things that we have to deal with all the time. I do want America to be the land of freedom where people can go out and roam the country without barcodes or IDs, but I've also seen the benefits in action of this program. Field agents, tipsters, and police departments are still our most reliable source of inofrmation, but yes most of the stuff the government uses is to snoop is electronic information provided to us by loyal American companies, but in response to the original poster, I wanted to discredit his concerns that the government is out to get him, because I assure you it isn't.
