I was just wondering if its bad to do this.. or if it even works.. I'm on birthcontrol and just got my period and was wondering if I started taking the hormone pills and skipping the blue non hormone ones it will stop my period or not? thanks..
apparently there is a pill now that gives you fewer pills and is pretty safe... the regular pill isn't that safe anyway. fewerperiods.com i'm looking into going on it.
Talk to your doctor first. I was prescribed to take 3 months of active pills and take the blank pills. If you are anemic or at risk of being anemic, this method reduces the amount of blood lost due to periods. Good luck! Peace and love
It does 'skip' your period for that month. But I wouldn't reccomend doing it too often. It's not healthy for your body to be forced to skip a period. Plus it can build up during that extra month and can cause a lot of pain the next time you do get your period. But yah, talk to your doctor about it. Depending on your body it could be good or bad.
