Eh, nobody has posted here...I'm the first at something! yay, me! So, right...Black Flag....I think they were awesome, one of THE FINEST American bands, ever. I like all their stuff....early right up until the end, when they kind of turned into a joke. Those guys (and girl) were one tenacious little band. Ok...that was my two cents.
Black Flag is good, Greg Ginn lyrics were awesome imo..though I dig Rollins as a singer moreso then Keith Morris, though I dig Keith Morris in Circle Jerks..But all the singers that Black Flag had were good so yeah...All brought something to the table... All in all though Black Flag is great... Everything Went Black, is a great album though it's pre-rollins, still one of my favs...
there is no current punk....that garbage is called, emopop singing about things that Rainbow Bright would sing about...
I like them, though I am more of a fan or the pre rollins era... Used to listen to them much more than I do now, guess I have less angst
Black Flag, well good Black Flag, isn't "current" punk. But ya MSI is good but i don't know if you can really call them punk, they blend a lot of genres.
well... you suck ass in my experience if people like them or not all depends on the first few songs they hear by them... I guess that is with alot of bands though.... wait.... what the fuck is wrong with me? of course it is.... damn, I'm fuckin' retarded right now.... time for me to shut up
