does anyone have any sources of info about the white ones? I have a pink one in my room, but i saw a white one in a shop and i cant really find any info on google.. im just curious, cause i didnt know you could get white ones =]
The white variety has been around for quite a while. Usually available through all the bulb catalogs. http://www.paghat.com/bleedingheartalba.html http://www.whiteflowerfarm.com/27738-product.html Try googling white dicentra.
My mother has white ones - if I remember right, she got hers as a cutting from a friend. I see them every once in awhile in nurseries, but they don't seem to be as popular for some reason as the pink ones. No clue why since Mom swears they're just as hardy! love, mom
I can't get them to establish here. Probably because we get triple digits for four months of the year. Even though I plant them in a wooded area. Just too hot for them I think. I keep trying though in my pet cemetary for symbolic reasons. I personally prefer the pink.
