has anybody ever put a little bit of phillies cigar shit in the bowl with weed to make it stronger? i know people sometimes leave the tobacco when they make a joint...
i did wtih some resin i had, i only put it there to keep it cherried for longer while the water was draining out...(it was in a waterfall bong) hehe
it works with any tobacco, tobacco just opens the pores in your lungs and the thc gets absorbed more. my dad actually rolls tobacco in with his joints, it conserves and also works.
well you can do it, but i certainly wouldn't advise using the filler from machine made cigars because that's nasty, and i wouldn't advise using the filler from a premium cigar because thats a waste of a fine cigar; if you're going to mix tobacco with your cannabis you'd be best to use a type of tobacco that's intended to be inhaled. if you smoke cigarettes, you can go ahead and break off a little bit of a tailor made and use the insides to mix with your pot in a bowl or a joint, but if you don't smoke cigarettes regularly anyway you should buy a pouch of rolling tobacco (if you choose to use tobacco, which i'd advise against entirely unless you're already a smoker) rolling tobacco is cheaper than a pack of cigarettes anyway, and it contains more usable tobacco than a pack of cigarettes. the reason it's cheaper isn't because it's inherently inferior; many rolling tobaccos are MORE flavorful than the tobacco in tailor mades. it's cheaper because it isn't taxed to anywhere close to the amount that prerolled cigs are. some pipe tobaccos would be suitable (i've used prince albert and half and half, but they aren't typical pipe tobaccos as i understand, but i could be wrong about that.
i personally think prince albert, bali shag, or american spirit are best for loose tobaccos. dunhills, gualoise, camel milds, pall mall, camel turkish blends, and benson and hedges would be the best for tobaccos from tailor mades to use with pot, in my opinion. of course it all depends on your personal preferences and what your pot is like (flavor wise and the feel of the smoke) as well. its also nice to use fresh ground cloves with your tobacco, or the tobacco from clove cigarettes instead. it offers a nice spicy, tastey flavor. i think its better, you may not. it certainly will be worse for you though... cut chamomile flowers can make a tastey addition as well, but a little goes a long way. i'd just use a pinch or two from a teabag. don't use chamomile and clove together, i'd think the tastes wouldnt mesh well at all.
Do you have a source or anything for this? I've never heard this, but that's real cool if it's actually true. edit: 420th post whoohoo
any blunt has tobacco in it, thats what makes it a blunt rather than just a big joint. it's rolled with a tobacco-based wrapper
just smoke cigs man(actaully porbly not too good of a habit to start up),but i can never really enjoy a nice bowl unless i can have a menthol after
i use tobacco because it gets me a better high. cuss im getting the nicotine and the THC and then i smoke a cigarette after the joint. (smoking a cigarette after a bowl is a party foul and your not supposed to smoke another bowl.) thats for those of you who use the party foul method.
no tobaco ever taints my bowl tobaco permenantly changes the taste of the bowl and i dont like it i dont like smokin any bowl thats had tobaco in it now i do smoke beedies..and will smoke a blunt (altho preffer any other way over a blunt) but i preffer just smokin my beedie while waitin for the bowl to comre around, and dont want anything to taint the taste of my herb although at times like someone mentioned, adding some other herbs can be nice for some not so tasty herb but tobaco always makes herb taste worse not better...and makes it harder to smoke enjoyably
