Does anyone still play board games? Or is everyone to busy with computer games & video games? I still like backgammon, scrabble, checkers, stratego & yahtzee
risk, scrabble, monopoly, and i am undefeted in battleship, i come from avery large family we grew up with board games
I don't mind chess but thats about it, do card games count? because if they do then there are a few of those i still play.
Board games should be renamed bored games, because they're so fucking boring. I have never liked board games, and probably haven't played them more than just a few times -- and this was when I was little.
i used to play chess quite a lot...was on my HS chess team, but that was 3 years ago...so yea...hven't been playing much bored games lately.
Never cared much for board games even as a kid. I rarely play computer games. Occasionally solitaire. That's about it.
I love playing board games - we have a few, and play some whenever friends come over. We're cheesy like that.
Gee, how could I forget "Risk" my kids, my ex & my brothers would all get together and play that together. They also played "Axis & Allies" but I never got into that 1. Sometimes "Monopoly" would take to long and I would give up....even tho I remember playing the video game version yrs ago. My favorite card game at the moment is "Canasta" except I've only played it online...never even watched real live people play it. Yesterday 1 of my sons wanted to play "Go Fish" but I ain't crazy about the dumb game & came up with some excuse not to play.
Ahh go fish that reminds me of a funny night, i was pretty "off my face" and had a few people over my house. Sometime in the morning everyone went to sleep but i couldn't so i convinced one of my friends to stay up with me and we played 'go fish' which basically consisted of him hitting the cards, then saying "go fish" while i laughed at him... i didnt win one hand even though i did try my hardest.
