There's no 'perfect' body image...it's subjective like all attraction.

There is no such thing as the ideal or perfect body image. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say. Personally, I LOVE fat guys. I generally find skinny people like Tom Cruise or whatever really unattractive. And dont worry about your weight - when I was your age I used to be really short and tubby, but I have stretched out now and everyone thinks that I'm skinny as hell. I still think of myself as a bit tubby though...

And I dont think that there is such thing as the perfect boyfriend either. Again, it depends on the person. I don't like guys who get into trouble etc. but I know a hell of a lot of people that love 'badboys'. Just take it easy. Don't worry - you will meet someone one day :)

just as an aside even if tom cruise wasn't really thin, he would still be a very unattractive person in my opinion

There are so many different types of bodytypes within the gay community. Twinks, bears, jocks, etc. Every individual has a different view of beauty. What I find attractive you may not find attractive.

However, the gay community is very vain (This includes myself). People who are only concerned with looks aren't worth anyone's time.

It takes differnt strokes for different folks. As long as you are happy with how you look, then someone will find happiness in you as well.

Mushie - I didnt understand why you said that the gay community is very vain. Surely it depends on the person and you cannot make such generalizations?

And the next thing you said: "people who are only concerned with looks aren't worth anyone's time" - I now understand what you meant by that, but didnt understand how it related to the previous statement about how gay people are very vain.

I mean a little bit. I care about clothes and my hair.

But I don't think it's any worse than the average guy.

    Oh, come on people.

Im sure that none of us could ever be physically attracted to someone the size of the mother from Whats Eating Gilbert Grape.

I would be very careful that doesn't end up being a problem, anorexia is on the increase in young males, the obsession about body image doesn't help this
