Hi, everyone. I first happened onto this site a week ago, after following a series of Rainbow Family links. I might as well take a few moments to introduce myself and explain what kept me around. In some ways, I'm an unlikely hippie. I'm thirty-three. I wear my hair fairly short. I eat meat. I'll vote Republican when there's nothing better to do. Don't ask about my taste in music, because I don't have any. But all that's window-dressing. If one force can be said to have driven my life, it's my imagination. Try as I might, I've never been able to keep from following my own muse. She's taken me around the world, preoccupied me with the oddest ideas, and in general, threw up a wall between myself and the folks who do no more or less than what is expected of them. For that reason, I've always felt a certain kinship with New Agers, Pagans, potsmokers, barefooters, nudists and communal livers. As I prepare to network with you all, part of me warns that I've missed the bus. "Man, you're at least ten years too late to start with that countercultural crap," it says. Truth be told, it does make a kind of sense. But since it's been saying the very same thing since back when I was sixteen, I figure it's time to try hitting the mute button. If I'm not old enough to know what I want by now, when am I going to be old enough?
There's no rules about what you can and can't believe or do. Don't worry about it..if you're happy in life,then just go with it. If you're not happy,then change your direction. And,I hope you have fun here with us
