well, I bought another bottle of water today. Not because I buy into the scam, but out of convenience... anyways, I was looking at the bottle and it reads "from the crystalline rock aquifer." "Uhm, that sounds familiar," I thought. And then it hits me! The tap water in south georgia (where I am) is from the floridean aquifer. And although this water claims to be from the appalachain foothills, it is still the same aquifer. And yet they have the nerve to charge me $1.19 for something I could've gotten for a fraction of a penny. (Yes I know this isn't the first time someone has thought of this, but I thought it was interesting cuz I just learned all about aquifers in my geology class)
interesting... i drink tap water all the time, i put toxins in my body all the time too, so i figure, whats a few more nitrates.. one way to remove chlorine from water though is to fill up an empty jug or bottle or whatever and leave it in a room or in the sun for around 24 hours or so without a top and it will eventually evaporate out of the water...
Im afraid of cali's tap water, if you pour a glass and look at it close enough you can see tiny little sea people plotting their attack on the humans Besides who said bottled water was a scam?, If you can get people to actually pay for water, you deserve all your money
lol, I remember when my sister tried to grow sea monkeys... not a very good investment.. I think it's a scam because most bottle water companies make their money from people's ignorance. But I guess a lot of places don't have good drinking water.
I vote we go back to drinking wine and beer all the time like they used to when the water wasn't safe to drink
