If you're a fan of boxing please feel free to talk about it. Who's your favorite and who would you like to see stand toe to toe. My favorite boxer without a doubt....'Smokin' Joe Frazier' I don't give a shit what anyone says...he beat Ali in that third fight.

Iron mike was ALL strength...Ali was all skill...who would win???

 

Ali couldn't handle Frazier and the popular consensus is that Tyson is the hardest puncher in history. Plenty of boxers have said nobody ever hit them as hard as Tyson.

Ali's biggest asset was honestly stamina. If he took Tyson past rd three he'd pwn him. If he tried to get buck early he wouldn't have been bragging about his "pretty" face...

Tyson will always be one of my favorites, but Mayweather Jr is my favorite, hands down.

Oh dude I couldn't agree more. Ali was great yes, but he was great in his feet, not necessarily with his hands. Tyson was fuckin gnarly.....hence the 'iron Mike' moniker. But Smokin Joe was pretty hardcore too. To Ocean...I'm not being an asshole, (or not trying to) but MMA is shit and boxing is not boring. It requires skill, brains, and talent. Something MMA will never need. Just my opinion.

Ali was smart enough to beat George Foreman, after he had been out of the game for 2 years, getting old, he could beat Tyson if he was in his prime.

I don't think boxing is boring by any means, but comparing MMA to boxing is like comparing pole vault to long jump in the Olympics... it's just too different. I like both....

Not enough of that in either sport, IMO. I like street fights. Somebody ALWAYS gets knocked out....

Did he hit harder than George Foreman? Ali was definitely a smarter fighter, quick, I reckon Mike would tire out. Then again I'm just a huge Ali fan, I've got one of his posters on my wall right now.

Tyson would've knocked Ali's head off. Botha tried to rope-a-dope Tyson and got hit so hard he almost fell out of the ring AFTER the knock down...

Foreman just let himself get wore down like a dumb ass and didn't think once to start going for the kill. He was a slugger who tried to out box a boxer... Tyson went for the kill with every uppercut and Ali wouldn't have taken many of them.
