I heard, last night, that there is a correlation between brain cancer and weed smoking. I don't want to hear shit from peolpe "theres a correlation between everything and cancer". Me smoking a cig will give me cancer quicker than me having breakfast. And I know pot helps those with Chemotherapy. I want to know if anyone else has heard of this.
Maybe there is a correlation between soap bar and cancer; that wouldn't surprise me at all. As for as government documentation giving the ''facts'' and explaining all ''risks'' of smoking cannabis goes; apparently smoke from any form of cannabis contains chemical ''nasties'' (some of these being carcinogenic).
alot of people smoke ciggerrettes for 2-3 maybe even 4 decades then die off from cancer. cant remember where but if Im correct a ciggerrette has a ton more chemicles than the 400-some found in marijuana.
so far there's been no answer. i mean this in no way to be aggressive to the other two post, but I know everythings that's been said. Cancer can be connected to almost anything. Some people never get cancer and smoke ciggs their whole life. I want to know if anyone has heard from legit source that it increases chances of brain cancer. I've been on http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?DB=pubmed all day looking at articles. I know that it's a .gov and it's funding by the government, but every article seems legit. All I am finding on this site are relatively new articles that have shown that marijuana (certain chemicals) can shrink tumors and kill them off. I'm not finding any old ones that say it causes brain cancer. So I think we're all fine when it comes to that.
Basically if media sources have printed that it does and you hear from another legit source that it doesn't, there is going to be a dispute. One of them is going to be a lie and if that is the media source then there could be legalities involved in printing fake information as a reference. I have read what I put in my last post on a government drug scheme website so there's no reason for it to be false. Whether I believe that or not is a different story because there is a lot of evidence that suggests (not shows) otherwise.
There is actually a negative correlation between brain cancer and marijuana smoking according most well done studies.
It really depends on what type of cancer he has to be able to determine if it was based on pot usage that caused the brain tumor. Rangerdanger I believe? If he has a metastatic tumor..those start elsewhere in the body and spread to the brain. So it may if fact have zero to do with smoking weed over time. There have been no recordings of anyone ever dying from weed comsumption..ever.
theres a 1 out of 3 chance u get cancer, 1 out of 5 u die from it. weed doesnt cause cancer, it actually reduces the chances by getting rid of dead cells that can become tumours. so dont worry about it, if you get it, you get it if you dont even better, live life to its fullest, enjoy whats right, say fuck no to wrong, and when its time to leave dont worry, for it was always worth the great experience and memories
