Guys and girls. If you had to choose, would you go for someone with a brain/intelligence who you'd have great conversation with, or someone with a perfect body and money but nothing between the ears?
It would have to be someone with a brain/intelligence because a perfect body ages, and money gets spent, but a sharp wit can last forever.
All brains are intelligent - each in its own unique way, just as all bodies are beautiful - each in its own unique way. To me, having a 'brain' that scores well on a standard IQ test is no better a predicter of attraction or compatibility than having a 'body' that conforms to fashionable standards. Also, brain and body cannot really be separated; one is an extension of the other, and both can gain beauty and character as they mature. As brain vs. body is a red herring to me, I would go for the one without the money, as it is more likely she would share my values as to what is really important in life. To be more succinct: I don't fall in love with a brain, a body, or a sum of money; I fall in love with a whole person.
Talking to someone who is interesting is the major attractor. Therefore, I would have to pick brains as being the most likely predictor of a good conversation.
like pretty much everyone has said, i'd rather have brains. money isn't that big a deal to me as long as you're getting by (even if living with parents, like I am atm) and a body, well, mine is pudgy and less than perfect, why would I expect my partners body to be perfect? As long as I'm at least a little attracted to 'em and can hold a conversation, I'll give it a shot
Oh, all right. You didn't say this was a lifelong commitment, so I'm going with the body and the bucks, to hell with idealism!
Intelligence, without a doubt. I love a good debate, I love to engage in long conversations regarding worldly issues, philosophy, politics, ethics, you name it.
duh. no way can a body make up for an interesting personality/intellect. To me there is nothing more sexy than an intelligent, interesting person, who is able to hold intelligent, interesting conversations. Yay for brains!
OK I can't choose either cause it really is the chemisty that matters as long as you both mesh and things money and intelligence aren't what matters. You can always connverse with someone you mesh with even if they are not Einstein. You will have so much in common that you will never run out of things to talk about.
. for me a fulfilling relationship includes being able to talk about life, the universe and everything..i like to be challenged by other people's thoughts, opinions and so on...in the end that's way hotter than a nice body.
