what purpose does a bra serve? I mean this in all seriousness.....what was the inventor of the bra's main incentive? bras are utterly useless to me, yet i continue to consider them a necessity...
They do have use for women when they excercise, as breasts can become sore from all that bouncing around. They personally don't bother me; I barely notice when I'm wearing one. It's not that big of a deal.
i consider them abolutely necessary. i have big breasts, and if i don't wear one they hang on my chest and get sweaty underneath. i hate that. also, they swing around too much and get sore when i move, even just walking they bounce too much. if you get a bra fitted properly, you won't even know it's there. i used to sell bras, and i got pretty good at picking them out for myself. i can sleep in my bras, having completely forgotten i was wearing one.
Bras were invented as an incentive to get men to sharpen their complex motor skills. Any guy who can unhook a woman's bra in less than a minute should be an honorary Rhodes Scholar.
Although I do agree with HANZO....have you ever encountered the triple hook, with a couple beers in you?......definatley takes some skill..(just a rant..sorry)..... not to offend anyone...but on a whole i feel that women shouldnt wear them unless nessacary or if needed....the female body is astounding...but im no lady so i wouldnt know...but if you have the urge...just let them go....you will hear no complaints from me......peace and vision
Yes, let's blame all our problems on men. Men are the cause of all our petty inconvieniences and all of them should be banished to Siberia. Those women in India who are forced burn themselves alive when their husbands die don't know what real discrimination is, because they aren't expected to wear a bra.
i don't wear them except for school, in which case it would be a cami with a built in bra.. they dont have a purpose except that sometimes the girls just need a little support
i'm voicing a personal opinion here when i say bras might be good for sum...annoyin for others and useless for me... i got naturals... even tho im a guy... dunno how tht happened....my family used to tease me wearin a bra since 4 yrs ago.. the tool of ignorance is interestin durin those times... but i find those who dun wear bras somewhat inspiring... not that im sayin i dun find those who do wear bras less inspirational... its just a feelin thats all Peace!
For women like me who are a 40 D, going without bra's is very uncomfortable. It actually hurts when I'm walking around to much to have my breasts moving around too much. It gets really hot and sweety under there after awhile, too. And it's just in all ways uncomfortable to me. I wear a bra to bed at night. Yeah, it's that bad. I think for some woman who have smaller breasts, it might be unnecassary to wear a bra. But trust me, they serve a very important purpose to many other women as well.
Yes, I agree. I'm a 34 D and I need to wear a bra because if I don't, well, my boobs HURT. Not to mention the nasty stares and coments you get when you go out braless.
Dude I so totally agree with you. Cuz when you have big ones you need that kinda support and the sweating thing is icky...I hate it too....Sometimes I wish I were smaller so that I could just let em hang loose!
I like wearing them....i feel funny if i don't have one on....besides, they keep you from getting sore
Ditto! I wear a 40 DD....man, it's next to impossible to find a bra that size! I already have back problems because they're so heavy, and when I go without a bra it hurts and gets sweaty and gross. I don't think I could live a decent life without one. Maybe you girls with smaller chests could go without one and feel alright, and wonder why we need to where them. But personally, if I didn't have my bras I think I'd have to wrap a heavy duty ace bandage around them to keep em out of my way.
If you're having back problems because of your breast size, you might want to talk to your doctor about things you can do to stop them... That doesn't always mean getting a reduction, there are probably other things you can do about it.
