Balbus thinks 52% of the voting British public are racists and neo-nazis. Then he tries and tell you leavers are the ones full of hate
And this is the guy that wants to be your PM Actually proudly refers to his country as a welfare state without even blinking
As I said many on the leave side seem very happy to say barefaced lies As I have explained many times the thing is that those that voted for Brexit did so for many differing reasons and believing they were voting for many different outcomes as has been explained it was a very split vote. Even some of my relatives voted to leave. Some people voted because they were bamboozled by the lies to others wanted extremely soft versions of Brexit, some the Canada version others the Norway model very, very few voted for a no deal one. But I’m sorry to say we do have bigots and racists in the UK and it seems that every one that voted, voted for Brexit. I’ve heard several people say they voted to leave the EU because of too many black and brown faces down the doctors surgery or supermarket and because of seeing ethnically diverse areas of what they call Londonistan (as in Pakistan) where there are mosques and Hindu temples. I and others have told such people that most of the brown and black people in the UK come from what used to be ‘our’ empire not from the EU and that actually leaving the EU might mean more of them migrating to the UK, but many seem to think leaving the EU means a stop to all migrants from anywhere coming to Britain. There are also the xenophobic ones and people that are locked in the past who voted leave out of hatred for say the French and the Germans the kind that would like the poster from LeaveUK that had a picture of Merkel on it with the tagline ‘we didn’t win two world wars to be pushed around by a kraut’
we didn’t win two world wars to be pushed around by a kraut’. OK let me put it a little more gently. We didn’t win two world wars to be pushed around by the Germans (or the French). Is that better? It is the remainers that are creating the bigotry. "Even some of my relatives voted to leave" They are the intelligent and educated ones. The choice is between staying and leaving. If the UK stays, over time it will be absorbed into the EU. The Army, Royal Air Force and Royal Navy will be controlled and absorbed into the EU armed forces. Within a couple of years if the UK wants to send troops to fight and protect another country it will have to convince twenty eight (28) other countries that that is the right thing. The EU will become more controlling over the British way of life. The will force a certain level of taxation. They will control more of our government both Parliament and local government. The EU has already specified the curvature of bananas to be imported and by coincidence they come from a French Colony in the Caribbean. If we want to import banana's from a member of the commonwealth, that is not permitted. You worry about being able to export to the EU. Germany is quietly shaking is its boots at the thought of import quotas, tariffs and restrictions the UK will place on the German Car manufactures. Remember the EU exports more to the UK than the US exports to the EU. The EU has specified that the British chocolate is not chocolate but must be called candy. Just wait until they want to force the English to drive on the other side of the road. Immigrants, I don't care if they are black brown yellow pink or purple. We should have the option of selecting the bad ones and sending them back, IMMEDIATLEY. I expect that immigrants clear immigration and will obey the law just like the rest of us. If we leave we can continue to control our own country, laws, immigration and finances. We can build Britain back to be a powerful respected country. Remember Germany was trying to clean up some other races not of the pure German and you call the leavers bigoted? Before you stay as a remainer I suggest that you read and absorb all of this. Most people voted Brexit because they could see the destruction of Britain when it is absorbed into the EU.
May So you think the majority of EU immigrants are ‘bad’ and ‘break the law’ why do you feel that way what are you basing it on? Who is feeding you these fears? This comes across like a dodgy Daily Mail editorial meant to generate fear, hatred and paranoia in the reader BUT it is not a rationally based and substantive argument. 8 Surprising Facts About Migration the Tabloids Don’t Want You to Know
May Again already covered why repeat stuff that fell apart last time you said it To repeat Oh yes I remember when we were told that as soon as Article 50 was triggered the German car manufacturers would be straight into Meckel demanding we get a ‘better deal’ than the one we have – then they didn’t do that So then we were told that when it looked like we might crash out the German car manufacturers would be straight into Meckel demanding we get a ‘good deal’ – then that didn’t happen And now you are saying that once we have crashed out (and royally pissed off our European trading partners) that the German car manufacturers will be straight into Meckel demanding we get a deal. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me – but do leavers really want to try and fool us a third time.
May How does lying help your case in any way? I pointed out you were incorrect last time you said this and so you know it’s a lie. I mean the thing about straight bananas is a myth that was debunked years ago and is now used as a joke to point out how dishonest are the right wing press and the gullibility of those that read them. And as explained to you last time most of the bananas coming into the UK come from Latin America and as an note here one of those places is Belize formerly British Honduras and a commonwealth member. Did you not check all this the last time this came up and were corrected?
May As I said xenophobic people locked in the past The end of the WWI was a 101 years ago the WWII 74 and you could say that the last major war we had with France ended in 1815. And what is ‘the British way of life’ please explain and describe what you see as the British way of life? You seem to have constructed a viewpoint of fear and paranoia build on the unsteady foundations of myths and lies about bananas and that chocolate has to contain at least some cocoa. Could Brexit make chocolate taste bad? Where are you getting your views from?
Another thing that I find rather disconcerting, even revolting, is that the very leavers that can’t defend their viewpoint and in no rational way explain why they think Brexit is a good idea, seem to feel childish glee at the prospect of the harm it will cause to the UK and many of its people.
Mysteron With a sad and forlorn LOL I’m sorry to say that I don’t think it will be ‘over’ for at least a generation or so. Whatever happens from now on we will be getting the blame game – I mean whatever happens it’s not going to go well So the Leavers are going to blame everything that’s not going well on the EU or those traitorous remoaners While the Remainers are going to point the finger and say ‘I told you so’ As I keep telling people – this was supposed to be the easy bit, it was JUST the withdrawal agreement - the really difficult bit was the trade talks that come after and as many have pointed out trade talks can go on for years, and those talks have to happen even if we have no deal and have really pissed off the EU27. No deal is going to be bad, very bad, so leaving with no deal is going to give a lot of opportunity for ‘I told you so’s’ or shaking a fist at the EU for not giving ‘us’ a ‘good’ deal. And the slow decline of a leave with a deal will still mean a lot of opportunities for ‘I told you so’s’ and for shaking a fists at the EU for thwarting England’s road to ‘greatness’. If we have a second referendum then…..well imagine And if a second referendum says stay do you think the leavers are just going to go away? Everything that goes wrong is going to have them saying ‘if we had left that wouldn’t have happened’ This particular Pandora’s Box has not just been opened it has had the fucking lid ripped off.
I agree. But I think it will be more confined to perhaps to the main news instead of many bulletins . There will always be the after math of anything like this . All of this is assuming of course that we do leave on the 31st October of which at the moment there is no certainty
Johnson's so-called 'deal' , having been trashed by Arlene Foster and the rest of the DUP has as much chance of being voted on favourably in Westminster as a ghost in hell !!! https://www.aol.co.uk/news/2019/10/17/brexit-deal-done-boris-johnson-announces/
I have just heard on the radio that Labour will not vote for it . And so the Saga continues ....................................................
Have we passed the point yet were an extension is going to be necessary ? I am assuming here that to leave without a deal is deemed as being unlawful due to the Commons voting on this issue.
