First off I'd like to acknowledge that I'm aware that any hair will dread with time and i need to be patient, however i have a few questions to reasure myself and my beginning dreads. I had a white fro before I started dreading (a couple weeks ago) so some of my hairs starting to lock up pretty quick, however I noticed some of my hair, mainy the hair i shleep on, was a lil to greasy to dread properly so I washed with some broners but unfortunately some of the dreads kinda fell apart in the shower and still seem like they got a lil bit 'o residue... is there anything you kind folk could advise or is time my only option?

    Bronners needs excessive rinse time/squeezing.

Rough (within reason) lathering with bronners will totally help things, and increase friction, preserving your progress.

If it knocked backcombs out, they where destined to come out either way.
