How do you know you have lice besides itching? Can you always see them? And are they harder or easier to see with dreads? My scalp has been rather itchy lately and I did a deep cleanse two days ago and this is a new thing. I am worried I have some sort of bugs or some shit.
check for white specks and if u cant slide the white off ur hair with ur figer nails get it checked for buggies
if you have pets check yourself for fleas I know during the summer I have to watch out for them because we have super fleas down here and several pets so yeah check for fleas
I caught live several times because my sister is disgusting and she and her friends like to rub their heads together. It's not just itching, it's like "HOLY SWEET FUCKING JESUS I WANT TO BURN OFF MY SCALP" itching. If you look near the root of your hair, you should be able to see white eggs.
All this talk about it makes me itch more, I will have my husband check later when he comes home. I was thinking maybe fleas since I have a cat but he hasn't been scratching at all. Maybe it is just a dry scalp and I am just really paranoid over lice.
Fleas don't live on humans. You don't have anything to worry about really. You might get bit by a flea, by that cannot sustain life on your scalp...nothing to worry about as far as fleas go. I doubt you have lice. I bet your scalp is dry.
So I washed my hair again today and used some oil on my scalp and it seemed to have helped. Still worried about bugs but maybe not so much now, thanks
you'd see the bugs in your hair . i slept next to his kid that had lice two nights in a row a couple of weeks ago and i never got them
yeah, fleas don't eat human blood unless there are no animals available and even then, it's not like they live there. they just bite and say "ugh, this shit is nasty" and then hop off and find a cat.
I would hate to get nits and wonder if you get em how do you get them out since we can't comb our hair? If you kill em off do they then just live in your dreads forever? It's a bit gross. Hope I don't get them but with kids I don't know if you can avoid it!
So far no one in my family has ever gotten them. My cousins had them pretty bad but for some reason neither me nor my brother got them, even though we were together all the time. Hopefully I don't ever get them.
wait wait wait hang on soo.... so you're trying to tell me that fire kills bugs? Shave the lice off? That would be time consuming I'd imagine
I remember I had lice once back when I was a kid. You would definitely be able to see them. No dreads, but I have really thick hair, it took forever for me to get rid of the lice. I thought I was going to have to shave my head. I think it was also a problem because I kept going to my friend's house and they lived pretty nasty like. But yeah, it's not anything like dry scalp itch, it is an evil itch where you just want to tear your scalp off. I think you're probably just dry. From what I understand, that's a common dready problem.
