I'd say I found the perfect way for me to build up some self-esteem. I started playin my guitar constantly. i had played rarely on and off over the past months, but i'm gonna start playin constantly. i feel great playin it and i'm thinkin about how great the tunes sound that i'm playin rather than what i hate and despise.

music is excellent therapy. It is something internal. Many people think self esteem can be built by external influences, which is no true in my book.

Thats cool you've found something to build your self-esteem!

I feel so happy when I play my guitar and sing! Its my favorite thing to do!
I agree with Bikshu that it can be therapeutic, it takes your mind off of everything stressful and lets you be creative :) I Love Music!!!!
