Bush Planning To Nuke Iran!!!

yeah its obvious that america is going to do this sooner or later, the iranians know it too - as they say let the ball roll. at anyrate its out the hands of the american voter now.

 

Umm...anyone else think this is rather hypocrittical of Bush..he almost seems more like Hitler than this other guy...

This bothers me...

Iran has shown that they are just buying time with 'diplomacy.' Wait, what they are doing cant be called diplomacy...

Acutally the real question is "How do we live," and this, in part, translates into "How do we solve problems." Do we act in crimminal and unethical ways, do we think in an internally/externally destructive manner ? I liken this situtation to an incompetent Doctor who is in a position to care for a Patient who has a toe infection; the Doctor could disinfect the toe and solve the problem but because of grave errors in his judgement he amputates the leg instead. When the Doctor is asked about this discrepancy he goes into a prerehearsed rendering of his denial and says, "Look you fools, what are you talking about, I saved the Patient."

are you saying the US hasnt tried to act diplomatically(disinfect the toe) towards Iran? Has Iran not been the openly belligerent one towards Israel and the US? Has Iran not openly defied the world with their nuclear program? Has the US not shown restraint and a willingness to work this out diplomatically?

When one side shuns diplomacy...it makes it pointless.

 

Actually, iran is a singatore of the Non-Proliferation treaty, and is entitled to a civilian nuclear program. They are acting sketchy, however, and i do believe that they are seeking nuclear arms. I t'ink this has something to do with bush's policy of preemptive strikes against countries seeking arms (Iraq), and a policy of containment for those who already have them (N. Korea)...
Nobody in that part of the world likes Israel, and though i believe that the jews have a right to a homeland, they have acted abhorently in the past (please don't list examples of how Israel has been attacked in worse fashions, merely saying that your enemy is barbarous doesn't excuse your own actions)...
